Privacy Policy

1. Scope and current website

This policy applies to the keepvid website. The current version does not include a keepvid account system, payment form, or file-upload feature. It presents guides and a download area that can display a local preview or an external provider’s interface.

The operator and privacy contact details are listed at the end of this page when available. Independent websites and providers have their own privacy policies; this policy does not describe all of their processing.

2. Technical information and server logs

Loading the website sends technical information to the hosting infrastructure. Depending on server and security configuration, request records can include an IP address, request date and time, requested URL, response status, browser information, and referring page.

The application also has a logging path for requests identified as Googlebot. Those records can contain a timestamp, user-agent string, visited URL, and referrer. These technical records support operation, troubleshooting, and security.

Log storage and retention depend on hosting and server configuration. This policy does not promise a specific deletion interval or that infrastructure logs are anonymous.

3. Video links and embedded download tools

The video-link input is part of the keepvid page. With the local preview configured, clicking Download opens a local result preview without sending the entered link for video processing. The preview request does not include the video link.

When an external download provider is configured, clicking Download creates an embedded result frame and passes your submitted video link to that provider in the frame URL. This makes a request to the provider, which can receive the video link, your IP address, browser information, and other connection data. The provider may use cookies or similar technologies.

Review the provider’s privacy notice before using its interface. Do not enter passwords, account credentials, or other sensitive information into a video-link field. Third-party processing does not remove our responsibility for any processing we carry out ourselves.

4. External fonts, cookies, and browser storage

The page stylesheet requests fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser may connect to Google’s font services, which receive technical request information. If the request fails, the page uses system-font fallbacks.

The current first-party page code does not set analytics or advertising cookies and does not store a download history in local storage. This does not mean that a hosting provider, your browser, or an independently embedded service cannot retain information.

You can manage cookies, site data, and third-party requests through your browser settings. Restricting external requests may affect fonts or the operation of an embedded tool.

5. Service providers and international processing

Hosting and security providers may handle technical information needed to deliver or protect the website. Information may also be disclosed where required by a valid legal obligation or where permitted to address fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

External font and download providers operate their own infrastructure. Information sent to them may be processed outside your country. Their notices explain their locations and safeguards. This policy describes the website’s own processing; provider-specific processing is explained in the provider’s notice.

6. Your choices and privacy requests

You can choose not to submit a video link, avoid opening external links, and use browser controls to restrict cookies and third-party resources. Clearing browser data does not necessarily delete records already held by a server or independent provider.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning access, correction, deletion, restriction, or objection to processing of personal information. Requests depend on the information actually held, applicable exceptions, and any identity checks needed to protect other people’s data.

Direct requests about keepvid’s processing to the operator using the contact details below when available. For information submitted directly to a third-party provider, contact that provider as well. You may also have the right to raise a concern with an applicable supervisory authority.

7. Children and security

The website is not directed to children. Do not submit personal information about a child through the download interface. If you believe a child’s information has been provided to the operator, use the contact details below when available so the matter can be assessed.

No website or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid putting sensitive information into URLs or sharing confidential material through a download tool.

8. Updates to this policy

We will update this policy when the website’s data practices change, including when a download provider, analytics system, advertising service, or contact form is added. The “Last updated” date identifies the version shown here. Where required by law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent separately.
